SUNY Maritime College of Fort Schuyler, New York
For the past two years, Blue Dog has worked with the SUNY Maritime College Parents Association to match their merchandising program with their fundraising goals. Branded watches and multi-tools have been selected for use in a number of ways to achieve their non-profit fundraising targets.
Watches with the Maritime logo on the dial are offered for sale to graduating seniors, alumni, and parents. This provides both a welcome reminder of the college experience as well as a visible example of the wearer's efforts to build the Maritime College endowment.
Gainfield Elementary
Southbury Connecticut
Looking for a way to revitalize their fundraising "Spirit Day", Gainfield and Blue Dog worked together to form new ideas for the program. The sales of their spirit wear clothing, a yearly fundraiser, had declined the previous year. Margaret Manzer, the committee chair, and Jenny Kuenzle, Blue Dog's regional sales director worked on gender specific pieces with new designs to appeal to kids, parents, and staff.
Results were, "beyond our wildest dreams" says Margaret. The girls, in particular, were thrilled to have items with their choice of logos that appealed to them. The overall increase in sales and profit demonstrates the sucess of the campaign.
"Best of all, Blue Dog's customer service was flawless." -Margaret Manzer
